In this video I give a brief walk around and tour of this 1987 Volvo 760 GLE. I try and start it up as well as show the engine and details of it. A classic view of Volvo’s past. The reason I didn’t do a full tour and review was because the owner had to leave with the car but I figured you all would appreciate the attempt to start video, pretty awesome car if I do say so myself, enjoy!

Stupid people who says that this car “doesn’t worth the money” can look on rolls royce phantom coupe and bentley continental gt. both cost much more and gives much less standard option,Mercedes-Benz have so much reliability in compare to audi or bmw. and how much people do you know died while driving a Benz?. and aston martin will give you much less for the price and its a different category at all. so all? of the 12 years old kids who like to write some stupid comments,back off please.

” the rear set legroom not really generous ………. you won’t put the legs behind them” this guy is an obvious idiot, one of my friend owns ’08 Mercedes S-class and if you pull back front seats all the way back the rear passengers can’t put their legs comfortable either, what would you expect from this car? also this car is one of the most comfortable coupe car for rear passengers in the world how you? could complain about it? I had a ride in rear seat and it was pretty cool tho.

who cares about the engine. The guy buying this car is not the same guy as a buyer of? a corvette zr1. You care about engine, horsepower, 0-6 speeds and torque, you’re a corvette zr1 or nissan gtr guy. If you care about having high class, beautiful style and showing you have lots of money you go with the cl550.

@Sitti2300 Mercedes has had ParkTronic automatic parking for several years and cameras. However it also has all-around radar that is constantly monitoring the car for drowsiness sensor (it will detect crosswinds, road surface, time driving), and will stop itself before a crash with PRESAFE and PRESAFE Brake. They also have neat things? like SPLITVIEW which allows two people two watch two different things on the same screen. But I do agree =)
in my opinion the interior looks great. but? the exterior looks so unbelievable boring. looks more like a 30.000 dollar car than a 100.000 dollar car.

I have a? 1987 volvo 760 Gle that needs a new home, has NEVER had a problem starting up nor staying started. Clean title, only accident is a minor dent in fender the size of an egg. Passed smog 7/2011 in California.

I drive a 740 GLE with the proper Volvo engine and would love to see a review on one of those or the turbo equivalent, or perhaps some 240′s, 242′s,? 260′s, 940′s, 850′s etc.. Love, love, love your channel though!! But im also in love with old Volvo’s so would LOVE to see more of them!!
@zacharyzoomy – The V6 was the PRV (Peugeot, Renault, Volvo) Engine, and as im sure you guessed, was built in collaboration with those three car companies and was in fact supposed to be a V8 but right before the fuel crisis of the 70′s, they decided to chop 2 cylinders? off and this caused huge problems. as you say, it was unreliable, unbalanced and seriously low on power. i think it only had about 20 more BHP than the 4 cylinder equivalents. They were a terrible engine! the 2.3 inline 4 is best!
